Avon Product Reviews by Susan King, This is where I will be reviewing some of the Avon Products I have tried. I enjoy reading other peoples' opinions of beauty products before I try them and I thought you might like that too.
Avon's Flower and Petal
Avon has introduced two new fragrances just in time for Mother's Day in May. They are the designer fragrances, Flower and Petal, by Cynthia Rowley.
I purchased a bottle of Avon's new Flower fragrance which comes in a beautiful white milk glass type bottle with a black ribbon around the neck. The fragrance smells like a garden. In fact, today a young man across the counter from me said, "you smell like my roses when I walk past the garden". I really like this fragrance and would recommend it to anyone who likes floral scents.
Petal by Cynthia Rowley is a fragrance for our young daughters or anyone who is young at heart. It has the scent of Lily of the Valley. It's a light, clean floral and really smells like the famous little flowers. This fragrance comes in a clear pink bottle, shaped like the white one.
If there is a mother and daughter on your gift giving list for Mother's Day this year, these Avon designer fragrances would be excellent products to give. I have to say that Flower by Cynthia Rowley is an excellent fragrance to receive too!

Avon's Hobo Handbags
I have enjoyed using a number of Avon's hobo style handbags in the past year. One of my favorites is their recent hobo introduction, the Bronze Metallic Hobo. It is a nice golden tan colored fabric with bronze metallic colored trim. This hobo has ample room to carry all of your necessities and more. It has two snap pockets on the front and a zipper pocket on the back.
The Avon Bronze Metallic Hobo is very comfortable to carry because the shoulder strap is padded. I especially appreciate that feature because I tend to carry everything but the kitchen sink in my purse. This handbag is fully lined and includes three inside pockets, one of which is zippered.

Avon's True Glow Fragrance
Avon's new True Glow fragrance is a bit different and I think I like it! It has a citrus and apple scent when you first apply it. Unlike many other fragrances, it's not the least bit flowery. This fragrance also has a touch of amber and soft musk.
True Glow comes in a beautiful package. The bottle is a soft curved shape and it literally does glow with a golden color. This citrus fragance is a generous 1.7 fl. oz. and can be found on my Avon Website in the Campaign #5 brochure.
In following campaigns, the True Glow fragrance will become available in a purse size spray, shower gel, body lotion and bath powder. You'll be glowing all over.
Avon Mascaras Avon offers their customers a good variety of mascara products. The newest offering is called Supershock Mascara which has a brush that is two times bigger than another leading mascara brush giving you the biggest lashes ever.
My personal favorite Avon mascara is called Daring Definition Mousse Mascara. I'm currently using it in brown but have ordered it in black as well. This mascara makes your lashes dark but is also very light weight. It stays on well but is also easily removed with soap and water.
Another of Avon's mascaras that I have used and like is called Daring Curves Waterproof Mascara. It adds a bit of curl to your lashes as you apply the product. You will need to use eye make up remover for this product. These days I'm using Daring Curves in Navy for a change of pace. Daring Curves is also available in a non waterproof version if that's what you prefer.
One of Avon's mascaras called Longest Lashes Ever comes in the usual colors and is also available in plum. I am planning to give this color a try soon just to be a little different. This mascara is a two step product which adds visible length to your lashes.
Other Avon mascaras are Wash-Off Waterproof Mascara which can be removed with soap and water and Superfull Mascara which gives you lots of volume without clumps.
Most of these mascaras are on sale right now at 2 for $7.99 from my Avon Representative website. The new Supershock mascara is being introduced at the price of $4.99. I know you will like a number of these mascaras so try a few of them while the price is right.

Avon Naturals Bath and Body Avon has a great line of Bath and Body products called "Naturals". Avon's Naturals comes in a number of fragrances including Peach, which is the Naturals' top seller, Vanilla, Lavender and Chamomile, Cucumber and Melon and others. The Peach Naturals body lotion is also one of Avon's top 10 products.
Each Naturals product is available in a shower gel, body lotion, and body spray. The body lotions are especially nice because they are lightly scented but also soothe and condition the skin without being the least bit greasy. They are good to use on your legs, arms and torso as a light moisturizer. My personal favorite is the Vanilla fragrance. To enhance the fragrance use the matching shower gel first, then top off the lotion of your choice with the matching body spray.
Avon introduces new Natural fragrances regularly for a limited period of time. A new fragrance about to hit the market will be Naturals' Strawberry Guava. I will have to buy the complete line of this one because I was fortunate enough to sample it recently and it smells delicious! Watch for this one in Avon's Campaign Five.
Avon Knows How to Make Chocolate! Avon has a new "Mark" product called Chocolate Orchid. Actually, there are several products in this fragrance and it is scrumptious! I'm a huge fan of chocolate of the edible kind so this product appealed to me immediately.
First I have to tell you about the Chocolate Orchid body butter. This stuff comes in a large, flat 6.7 oz. jar and it looks just like chocolate mousse. It smells like something you might want to eat as well. It smells just like chocolate and I love it. Don't let your really young children get a hold of this!
The Chocolate Orchid fragrance is also available in a product called moisture milk which is a light lotion that will moisturize your skin with this yummy fragrance. There is also a dry oil mist in Avon's delicious new scent which also moisturizes your skin. I haven't personally tried the moisture milk or the dry oil mist but I'm sure they will be on my list of products to try soon.
I like the Chocolate Orchid scent mist spray which goes on like a cologne spray but it also moisturizes and contains vitamins A, B and C. This Avon "Mark" product line continues with a 6.7 oz. show wash and a customizable candle. When you order the candle you receive a glass jar, 2 wicks and 2 bags of wax beads. One bag is bright pink and the other is the color of "chocolate".
If you've never tried Avon's line of "Mark" products, this would be a wonderful time to give one a try. The Chocolate Orchid fragrance is a huge hit with me.

Skin So Soft Body Lotion
My husband and I have started using Avon's Skin So Soft Replenishing Body Lotion this winter. It really softens and moisturizes your skin leaving it smooth to the touch.
My husband has extremely dry skin and has to use a lotion every day. He has tried a lot of different products but recently chose this product as his favorite. He likes the original scent best while I like the Soft & Sensual scent best. The body lotion is also available in a scent called Renew & Refresh which is also an age-defying product.
There are other products that match these Avon body lotions. Some of them are the Skin So Soft Body Bar, the Skin So Soft Relaxing Foam Bath, the Skin So Soft Creamy Body Wash, and the Skin So Soft Moisturizing Shower Gel. All are excellent products and well worth trying.
You can also get the famous Skin So Soft Bath Oil in either a large bottle or a small five ounce spray bottle.
Skin So Soft items are some of Avon's biggest sellers and it's easy for me to see why. I highly recommend trying the Body Lotion and then go from there. You can find all Skin So Soft products at my Avon Representative Website.
Hydra Radiance
I have been using Avon's Solutions Hydra Radiance day lotion for some time now and can't say enough good things about it. In my opinion it compares well to a much higher priced product by Mary Kay that I used for years before this product was available.
Hydra Radiance day lotion is light weight and non greasy. It goes on easily and gives my face a glow, just as it is advertised to do. It has sunscreen which is great for my fair and sensitive skin. It also makes my foundation go on smoothly. I haven't used the Hydra Radiance night cream yet but I plan to try it soon. I hope you'll try one of these great Avon Solutions products too!
Rouge by Christian Lacroix
Avon's newest fragrance for women is called Rouge and has just been introduced by french designer Christian Lacroix. Rouge is being advertised as the color of Passion and comes in a beautiful red bottle.
I ordered my bottle of Rouge and agree with the description Avon gives of it being a burst of citrus and spices. I have always enjoyed spicey fragrances so this one is another hit for me.
Rouge is being offered at a price of $32. When I compare this cost to designer fragrances being offered in department stores, I am pleased with the reasonable price. I don't think you will be disappointed with this one.
